Description
Samarium magnets are inter metallic compounds made from samarium as rare earth elements and cobalt. With performance superior to any other magnets currently available, they are known as the “ultimate magnets.”
SmCo5 and Sm2Co17 are the most common elements.
In particular for high temperature applications, its high maximum energy product and coercive force allow the design of very compact and highly efficient devices.
Samarium Cobalt magnets are manufactured through powder metallurgy processes therefore in order to use it most economically, consideration of magnet shape and material grade are important.

- Speakers (Ear phones, Head phones)
- Motors (Stepping, Coreless, Servo)
- Switches, Sensors, Relays
- Actuators
- Electric Watches, Gauges
